OnLive Wants You to Play Lego Harry Potter for an iPad

lego_harry_potterI still haven’t managed to muster up the motivation to buy a game on OnLive, though I now have a free year as a Founding Member or whatever. I’m guess I’m not the only one with that mindset, and so OnLive is making a push with the release of Lego Harry Potter tonight at midnight Pacific. The first person to make it all the way through the game and collect all 200 gold bricks gets an iPad. And the next five people to do so get an iPod touch. You’ll be able to get a the lifetime pass or a 3- or 5-day pass for this game. Get the full rundown on what you have to do to win here.

I like this idea, really. It’s doing something tangible to get people to try this thing out, though you won’t be able to get a new membership before midnight if you aren’t already in since they’re only doing the Founding Member thing right now, and it’ll take a few days between registering for it and them approving you. But if you’re already in, now would be the time to try it out, I guess. I won’t, though, because they don’t deem my current connection consistently good enough. Bah.
