Over 100,000 Registered for The War Z Beta in 24 Hours

The War Z, a new Zombie survival MMO, has opened up registration for a closed beta slated to begin “later this summer,” according to the official website. Over 100,000 signed up within the first 24 hours of the title being announced back on July 19th, which should inspire the devs just a bit. The final version of the game is due out this fall. You can try to sign up for the beta yourself at The War Z’s official website, though there’s no guarantee you’ll get in.

While similar in concept to the famous Arma II mod, Day Z, The War Z is a standalone product, and will have likely have the advantage of being more accessible. On the other hand, Day Z has around 1,000,000 current users, so…
