Own a M-77 Paladin Replica Handgun from Mass Effect

BioWare’s online store is now stocking guns—not real ones, mind you, but replica firearms based on the Mass Effect series. The latest planned release is a replica pistol called the M-77 Paladin, better known as Shepard’s trusty sidearm.

The handgun will have a limited release of 200 units worldwide, so fans of the series are urged to snatch them up before they’re out of stock. To order one, you’ll have to place a deposit of $200.00 on the BioWare online store here. The full price for the replica is $400, not including shipping, handling, and taxes.

The weapon, seen above and below, is sculpted and painted by the artisans at TriForce. It’s a full-scale replica and referred to by its developers as the “most authentic representation of this weapon available on the market.” Each unit is hand-finished and hand-painted, which explains why it costs so much. The gun is heavy, weighing a full 7 pounds.

BioWare warns that while they are able to ship the gun anywhere in the world, it may be confiscated by customs due to the nature of it being a gun and all.

Lol why would I want to own a replica gun from one of the worst endings to a game trilogy ever? No thanks, I’ll pass.

Lost interest in Mass Effect items last year sadly.

Besides, I’d probably only be disappointed with the finish.

Wow the cry babies commenting need to go write a sad story about how sad they are…

What a surprise, a childish comment calling people ‘crybabies’ and ‘sad’ for having complaints about something from the Mass Effect universe. Where have I heard that before?

Grow up, Jeon. You’ve nailed your colours to the mast and will never be taken seriously by any real gamer after that.

Oh look, Jeon has written a sad story. Sorry Jeon, guess that makes you a cry weenie. Hey Jeon, a word of advice. Pull your head out of Biowares backside. The air is much cleaner and you can see things a lot more clear. Your vision isn’t covered in EA sh__. Until then, you really don’t need to come back, seeings how you appear to be a dic_ and all.

I’m with S.J.M. on this one. My interest in ME merchandise went away last year. It isn’t even the ending that really convinced me the BioWare doesn’t deserve my money, but rather, how the company responded.
