Paradox Reveals New Europa Universalis IV Expansion Details

“More importantly, it is indeed a sad life that has never breathed deep the sweet, proliferous bouquet that is Tortuga, savvy?”

Paradox has revealed details about the first expansion to its empire-building game, Europa Universalis IV.

The expansion, Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise, allows players to send their ships off to the west to discover a new world — specifically, a randomized American continent.

Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise lets players take command of a Native American nation and master the federation mechanics, as well as unique national ideas, buildings and events. Players can also take command of a Colonial Nation, declare colonial war, or even strive for liberty from the motherland.

Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise will release on all major digital-download portals on Dec. 11, 2013.

In separate news, Europa Universalis IV Patch 1.3 released last week. You can read the patch notes here.
