Pathfinder Online to be Multi-Platform, 6 Days Left on Kickstarter
I love D&D. I love Pathfinder. I’m not really sure how I’m supposed to feel about Pathfinder Online, but I sure hope it turns out to be good. At least I’ll be able to play with my Mac-using friends. Goblinworks have announced that – thanks to using the multi-platform engine Unity – they will be making a Mac port of the upcoming MMO. You are free to cheer or boo as much as you like. This announcement comes within the last week of crowdfunding for Pathfinder Online, and there is a rather daunting amount of money left to be raised. $350,000 in six days, to be specific. While the development of the MMO will proceed whether or not the goal is reached, a fully-funded Pathfinder Online will mean we get some classic D&D action far earlier than if the game proceeds ahead on its current budget. Here’s hoping that it does, and we get to see all those promised changes to the MMO formula sooner rather than later.
