PAX East Day 1: In Pictures

Arriving at PAX East, we immediately encountered the dreaded Line Monster. He was not conquered at this time.

The line monster was not present here. This is what a massive LAN looks like when none of the gamers have arrived.

Lady Lolth put in an appearance. No offence, but she was kind of a bitch.

Dragon Age 2 cosplay? Did these people not play that game?

The gang from Borderlands 2 was on hand. Stuff got shot.

Is that the line for the Mass Effect 3 panel? Yeah, it is.

These Mass Effect 3 cosplay photos are the most productive thing we got out of today’s Mass Effect panel. There’s a reason the woman on the right looks exactly like Samara — BioWare used her face as the model for the in-game character.

If this isn’t the world’s most awesome gaming table, it’s definitely a close second.

We tried to get a ride back to the hotel on the Lollipop Chainsaw bus, but they weren’t taking any passengers on board.

So, that’s day one of PAX in pictures. Stay tuned tomorrow for more pics, and if there’s something you’d like to see, let us know!

Game Front is on-site at PAX East all weekend (April 6-8), bringing you daily news, hands-on previews, interviews and pictures. Stay tuned for more PC gaming-focused coverage!
