“Project RPG” Revealed, Helmed by Former Witcher 2 Dev

City Interactive and German studio Deck13 are working on “Project RPG,” a yet-to-be-named title that will be helmed by Tomasz Gop, a former senior producer at The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings studio CD Projekt RED.

An action RPG still in early development, the skill-based game will feature combat inspired by Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur and Batman: Arkham City, with an easy-to-learn, difficult-to-master concept. Enemies will be designed to be recognizable not by their appearance but their behavior and fighting style.

Project RPG is currently entering its “prototype phase,” and is scheduled to be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC sometime in 2013.

when you put Action RPG, “Senior producer of witcher 2″, dark souls, KoA, and Batman arkham City in a same sentence, that’s gotta make you pause for a few moments. It either means something truly amazing or just a underdeveloped mess. Though the mention of The witcher 2 former Senior producer does put my mind at ease.

Also, is that a effing hand????… yummy
