Penny Arcade Game Coming to Xbox Live Arcade?

gabe tycho

Love it or hate it, Penny Arcade has become part of our gaming culture. The foul-mouthed duo have grown from cult status to downright icons. On top of their success, PAX is becoming larger every year, threatening to take the place of the now-defunct E3.

Their latest venture is the creation of their very own game. After years of throwing mud at gaming developers, the Arcade boys are putting their own necks on the line. Early trailers for Penny Arcade Adventures Episode One: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness certainly show promise, but what was undecided was the actual delivery method of their upcoming game.

The newest edition of EGM may just shed some light on the subject, as they are reporting that chances are we will see the title headed to Xbox Live Arcade. While this is being reported as rumor, chances are that the full announcement will be made at PAX held 3 weeks from now. This rumor seems pretty solid, as Penny Arcade has worked closely with Microsoft in bringing themes and gamer pictures to Xbox Live.

I guess we will soon know for sure, as the wait for the insanity that is the Penny Arcade Expo continues.
