Perhaps the SOPA/PIPA Blackout Worked (GRAPHIC)

The other day we contemplated whether or not the website blackouts to protest SOPA and PIPA would work; today, we feel like they maybe did. And that’s because ProPublica tracks who supports and opposes what bills, and somebody made a graphic of their data for SOPA/PIPA that shows a nice before and after picture. Look:

That paints a nice picture, no?

I think anyone who was in the “Supporters” column on either day needs to be voted out at the end of their term.

Legislation like SOPA/PIPA needs to be so toxic as to terrify politicians into not supporting it from day one. Any who supported it, even if they changed their minds, needs to be voted out and replaced with a more moderate thinking human being.

@Brad- I don’t know who you are mate, but you’re sure giving sane and good suggestions. Thought of running for office? Anyway- SOPA is as opposed to everything Americans stand for as has yet been proposed (except for the NDAA, which passed!!). People should be IMPRISONED for proposing it’s unconstitutional crimes be made legal. That’s our legitimate protection- for everyone in the world. I’m stunned it’s not happened yet. More stunned the NDAA has been passed. Good thing The People are standing up for themselves! Democracy NEEDS people to be active citizens- or as we so vividly have been seeing, the freedoms a citizen enjoys die.
