Persona 2: Innocent Sin Coming to North America For the First Time This Fall

Persona 2 is two games that share a plot. The first game, Innocent Sin, never saw release outside Japan. The second game, for some reason, did make it to the West on PS1 as Eternal Punishment.

For the first time, now, people who don’t know any Japanese can play Persona 2: Innocent Sin, which had been the only Persona game to never see a Western release. Amusingly, since Innocent Sin was a PS1 game released 12 years ago, this new version, which will be exclusive to the PSP, counts as a remaster.

No release date yet — just expect a fall release. I’m pretty pumped; this could make for a good JRPG pick for me, even though I’ve already hit a Persona game this year.
