Peter Molyneux, Who Works for Microsoft, Thinks Kinect is Better than the Wiimote and Move

molyneuxSpeaking with UGO, Microsoft employee (just to reiterate) Molyneux, who makes games exclusively on the Xbox 360 and is developing titles for Kinect, said this: “I find it hard in my mind to differentiate between the Sony Move and the Wii…this is not me talking as a Microsoft employee — this is me talking as a designer — but I have to take my hat off to Microsoft. Because they really did go one step beyond what they needed to do.”

Smooth move, Microsoft employee Peter Molyneux.

Of course, I’m not saying he’s wrong, not when a Sony guy is telling people that rumble is one of the important aspects of the Move. I’m just saying it’s funny when people who work for a company publicly say how cool that company’s big new product is.

If you read the rest of the interview at UGO, you’ll eventually get to the part where Molyneux tries his hardest to dodge a question about same-sex marriage in Fable III. It’s worth it, believe me.
