Petroglyph No Longer Working on End of Nations

Trion Worlds was working with Petroglyph on developing the upcoming MMORTS End of Nations, but the publisher has since moved development in-house.

Community manager Lance James posted on the game’s official forums this week:

“As End of Nations was reaching the pre-launch phase in its lifecycle, we officially brought the game development in-house to Trion Worlds and will complete the development internally.”

A report earlier this week that said 30 Petroglyph staffers were let go from the studio, as well as the removal of a link to the game from the official Petroglyph forums, now serve as warning signs astute observers may have picked up on.

Sounds like Petroglyph got screwed….again.
I wish Petroglyph the very best. I wish they could return to the glory days of Westwood.
