Phantom’s Lapboard Finally Manifests

Remember a few years ago when an unknown company promised to make a configuration free, plug and play PC console named Phantom? Well, after all the false claims faded away, that same company decided to capitalize on the one technology they could actually deliver – a wireless keyboard and mouse for multimedia usage. The Phantom Lapboard is the result.

The Phantom Lapboard includes a 120 Dpi laser mouse and offers a function to swivel the keyboard left and right. Using a 2.4Ghz radio to transmit activity from mouse and keyboard, the keyboard claims to provide a 32 foot range.  This combination of features makes this pretty attractive for folks using media center PCs or who choose to set up a PC next to the cable box on their big screen TVs.

The keyboard and mouse combination comes in a black or white finish and retails for $130 through Phantom Entertainment’s online store.
