Physical Warfare Pack Not Only A Pre-order Bonus for Battlefield 3

Cheer up, motherf–kers.

The most nonsensical boycott ever has caused DiCE to try to explain this whole Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare pack pre-order bonus thingie. The pack of three weapons, which DiCE insisted would not alter the balance of the game, will be given out as a pre-order bonus, but will also be unlocked for everyone who has the game at some point after the game is released. They say that’s always how it’s been. It’s weird, then, that they didn’t explain this in their Q&A yesterday.

In the same post on the Battlefield Blog, they clarified what’s up with the Back to Karkand map pack pre-order bonus. They specify that Back to Karkand is not day one DLC; instead, those who pre-order will get the map pack for free, and everyone who doesn’t pre-order will be able to buy it. What I’m saying is that everybody will get it at the same time, derp.

Is everyone happy now?

Yea… that Karkand map thing was a little confusing to be honest. I would be pissed if it wasn’t made available to me at all. Pretty popular map in bf2.

It was all apparently more confusing than anyone outside DiCE realized.
