PixelJunk Eden Slated for July 31 Release

Gaming Today

The perplexing PixelJunk Eden had its release date announced today on VideoGamesBlogger: July 31, 2008 is when the next PixelJunk game and the second PS3 title to include Trophy support will be available.

As I said before, I’ll be picking up the game based on how good PixelJunk Monsters was; I trust Q-Games, and if nothing else, the game will serve as another great-looking downloadable game in my PS3 library. Anyone else buying the game?

I haven’t played Monsters yet, but I’m getting this game. Definitely a change of pace game.

Alot of folks will likely give it a shot just because it has trophy support.

Another great project from PixelJunk; but here’s the beef: Why is that bright white logo still in the middle of the screen?

Cmon QGames, show a little support for your fanbase. There are more than a few plasma screen owners out there that have been complaining about burn in. Enough of them in fact that “Encore” for Monsters included a “burn in” modification.

Not that it did much (dimming will only delay the same burn in effect), but at least it was recognition that there is an obvious design flaw.
