Play Dino D-Day For Free This Weekend on Steam

For some reason, the insanity of San Diego Comic-Con 2011 is just now catching up with me. The weekend in sight, I collapsed into bed last night at the ignoble hour of 10 p.m., suddenly exhausted. After much sleep, I awoke this morning, a little too early for a Saturday, completely and totally bored.

Luckily, there is Steam, and by Steam all hope is restored to humanity. Firing up the game download service, I meant to peruse through the many games I’d purchased over the last weeks and months but still hadn’t had a chance to play. But Steam knew what I needed, and for that need, Steam provided.

Lo, for the online multiplayer of Dino D-Day is free to play this weekend. Yes, a World War II FPS — with dinosaurs. It’s as if they went into my brain and pulled out every dream I’ve ever had.

Okay, sure, Dino D-Day may only have a 53/100 on Metacritic, but then again, Metacritic can suck it. There Nazi dinosaurs out there, people. You must love that. Or were you born without a soul?

Feel free to start your Steam downloads right here.
