Players Can Get ‘Enslaved’ When the Apocalypse Drops in October

scrJune2010_CH02_G_001 Namco Bandai Games’ post-apocalyptic country-crossing action game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West hits Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on Oct. 5.

Billed as a tactical action-adventure game, Enslaved is makes use of two main characters and one a brawny ass-kicker, the other a slightly-built tech wizard and to apparently escape from slavers who are trying to drag the pair across America. Or something.

The one guy carries a bow staff, and there are shots of characters climbing walls in the style of Prince of Persia, which backs up the press release’s assertion that the game will involve “environmental transversal.” Probably why the big guy is called Monkey – why bother with subtlety?
