Playstation Gamers’ Choice Awards Nominees are Live – Go Vote!

The annual Playstation Gamers’ Choice Awards nominees have been announced, giving players a chance to pick the best titles of 2012 on the Playstation 3 across a number of categories — and you can vote, too.

The nominees were posted this week on the Playstation Blog, running down all 30 contenders across 10 categories. Completely unsurprisingly, Journey gathered the most noms at three: Best Indie Game, Best PSN Exclusive and Best PSN Game. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is also well-represented with two nominations: Best Competitive Multiplayer and Best Playstation Move-Enabled Game.

We’ve got the full list of nominees below. You can vote for your favorite Playstation games by downloading the free XMB theme from the Playstation Network Store, with every winning title going on sale for a limited time in celebration of its victory. Expect to see some pretty hefty discounts for winners, especially if you’re a Playstation Plus subscriber. Voting closes Monday, Feb. 25, with winners announced (and sale prices starting) on Tuesday, Feb. 26.
