PlayStation Now Will Launch With “Hundreds of Titles”
Sony’s PlayStation Now streaming service will launch with a library of hundreds o “hundreds of titles.”
The depth of the service’s library was confirmed by Sony marketing staffer Todd Liss at a recent invite-only event. At the event Sony apparently offered two demonstrations of the service in action, playing Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception on the PS4 and Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus on the Vita.
Unfortunately, outside of Liss’s brief comments little else was revealed in the way of additional information regarding which games would be included in Now’s launch library or how much they will cost. Images taken from the website of the Sony-owned streaming company Gakai had previously priced Now based rentals at ranging from $4.99 to $5.99 each, with full game purchases potentially costing as much as $49.99. When queried, Sony refused to comment on the subject.
