PlayStation Store on PCs Is Now Open

After an e-mail was sent out recently about the new PlayStation Store, which would allow you to purchase and download content for your PSP through a PC, I correctly guessed we would soon get an announcement about it in the US. I incorrectly guessed the release as following the supposed post-Christmas release in Europe; turns out the PlayStation Store is now open for business.

Located at http://www.store.playstation.com, the PS Store will allow PSP owners to download all sorts of free or premium content, including demos, videos, PS one Classics, and other games.

PSP owners have been waiting a really long time for this, so it’s nice to see them rewarded for their patience. And for those who may have just recently picked one up more recently because of the price drop or redesign, you’ve got an entirely new feature to enjoy.
