The gaming industry seems to have run out of modern movies to pilfer for licenses. And so they turn once agin back in time to the 80′s with a new game based on Dirty Dancing. You might automatically be thinking “cheap DDR rip-off” when the idea of a game based on this movie enters your mind, but not Codemasters. Instead, you’ll be tasked with playing a series of mini-games to collect camp dollars and earn memorabilia and dance lessons. Who could forget the classic moments from this film, like when the characters slid hexagonal tiles around to form rows of three, or when the dancers rearranged themselves all over the dance floor to allow a watermelon to pass from one side to the other? To be honest, I’ve never seen the movie so I don’t know. It’s an experimental art house film right? David Lynch directed?
