Point Break: Payday 2 DLC Goes Live Today

UPDATE: The original article stated the DLC is $5 when it is actually $6.99. The error has been corrected.

There are some seriously challenging missions in Payday 2. Getting the correct, anvil-heavy fusion engine out to the chopper while under a hail of bullets in the final stage of Big Oil comes to mind. But it appears Armored Transport, which features armored car and train heists across Washington, DC, could be the toughest yet.

We’ll find out for sure today when Payday 2′s Armored Transport DLC goes live. Officially, the car and train heist missions are single day jobs playable across five existing maps. There are also three new weapons, and in a nice, Point Break-twist, four new president masks featuring Nixon, Bush, Clinton, and Obama.

Overkill is also making it easy to get in on the Armored Transport action. The DLC is just $6.99, and anyone who owns it can bring friends into the missions, even if they don’t own the DLC themselves.

Payday 2 Armored Transport should be live in a couple hours once Steam updates its store for the day.
