Portal 2 Allows PC & PS3 Modders to Share

Portal 2 user created mod levels will be available across all consoles. In an upcoming interview releasing later this week, Valve’s Chet Faliszek has confirmed that the content created on the PC can easily be shared with the PS3, Xbox 360 and Mac.

“The mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform,” Faliszek told NowGamer. “But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it.”

PS3 gamers will be able to download Portal 2 mods from the upcoming Steamworks. Portal 2 will be out in North America and Austrailia April 20th and Europe April 22nd.
