Portal 2 Update Adds 2 Controller Splitscreen Support

Portal 2 news has been light as of late, but Valve continues to support the game. A new update is adding two controller splitscreen support to the game’s co-op experience.

The update notice reads:

Big Picture Support
- Added 2 controller splitscreen support for Standard Co-Op. Press X on the second controller inside the first Co-op menu to activate it.
- Fixed controller’s ‘quick ping’ button causing the player’s movement to stop.
- Fixed not being able to exit Robot Enrichment or Create Test Chambers menus with the controller.

Since August, the Portal 2 test chamber maker supports co-op, so what better way to have fun with a buddy than by making and playing a level as you sit side-by-side?
