Pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations “Significantly Higher” Than Those For Brotherhood
Fun fact: The original Assassin’s Creed is the top-selling game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and every subsequent game has sold less than the one before it.
It’s interesting, then, that Yves Guillemot would tell investors today that Revelations has “significantly higher” pre-order numbers than Brotherhood. He qualified that, then, by saying that they’re expecting a “double-digit decline” in sales for the title, which is also interesting.
I wonder where they come up with this stuff? I wouldn’t know. One would think higher pre-orders would lead to higher sales, but I guess this is the exception. Too bad; I’m hoping this franchise lasts forever, because that would be fun and very frustrating.
