Prison Architect Launches On Steam

Introversion has launched Prison Architect on Steam. The title earned over a million dollars in sales for its developers before it was even released, and has since been made available as an Early Access game on the platform.

The studio is best known for its work on Darwinia and Uplink, and has designed Prison Architect as a simulation of building and managing a prison.

The game is not yet complete, and currently remains in development. Players interested in picking up the game early can pay for it for the full price and participate in its development by offering feedback to the developers and testing out nightly builds.

“It’s full of bugs and glitches and you’re not going to get a polished experience,” the game’s Steam page warns, so let the buyer beware.

The game is available in different tiers, allowing customers to pre-order the game’s artbook and soundtrack or buy the studio’s entire back catalog (via Gameranx).
