Prison Architect Makes Over $1M in Pre-Orders

Introversion Software’s upcoming top-down construction and management sim Prison Architect has earned over $1 million from pre-order sales alone.

In total, 30,259 alphas have been sold, for a total of $1,016,710. That puts the average pledge at $33.6, which is right between the $30 minimum and the $35 package that nets backers an artbook and soundtrack. $40 pledges additionally come with Introversion’s entire back catalogue, which includes Uplink, Darwinia, DEFCON, and Multiwinia.

“What an incredible milestone! We are incredibly thankful to everyone who has joined us so far,” Introversion tweeted.

Two weeks ago, Introversion released some new alpha footage for their upcoming game, showcasing a new “rap sheet” system.
