Project Sylpheed Weapons Briefing

With the launch of Project Sylpheed earlier this week Gamerscore News has some advice for pilots on weapons training. Pilots will need to balance fire power with agility while equipping their starfighters with their choice of 50 different weapon customizations from the machine and gun and sword SG to the heaviest hitting anti-craft missiles.

Pilots will have the choice of fully customizing four weapon mount locations on their starfighter, the Delta Saber. Gamers can assign weapons based on a variety of attributes, to the nose of their starfighter or in one of the three other main weapon slots. As gamers get more immersed in “Project Sylpheed,” they’ll receive points to purchase and engineer more advanced weaponry. Each weapon is ranked in four classes, for Range, Damage, Speed and Weight. Additional information is provided on a weapon’s ability to reload, sight homing and lock-on capabilities for single or simultaneous targets. Rookie pilots can utilize the auto-select option that will provide a recommendation for weapons based on a mission’s objectives.

Project Sylpheed is an Xbox 360 exclusive from Game Arts and SETA published by Microsoft and Square Enix.
