PS Vita Getting Netflix

I guess it’s obligatory; every new mobile device has to have Netflix, even though I already have it on three things connected to my TV, my TV itself, both my phones, my 3DS and my iPad. But, hey, what’s one more?

At CES today, Sony revealed that the PS Vita would also be getting a Netflix app, which is cool, I guess. Wouldn’t want to be without Netflix ever, right?

There are people who will benefit from this, to be certain, like those who have Android phones too old to support Netflix and want to stream stuff on the bus. Another thing to consider is that Netflix movies tend to not look too good on mobile devices; maybe the PS Vita will have a leg up in that regard.

I doubt you’ll be streaming Netflix on the bus on the PS Vita seeing as the highest 3G plan you can get is 2GB/month ($10/GB if you go over)…I guess it would depend on the quality that Netflix streams, but I’d think the majority of people wouldn’t plan on wasting their bandwidth on that.
