PS4 Users: Have You Experienced Error “CE-34878-0″ Yet?

There’s a 34-page thread on the PlayStation Forums about Error CE-34878-0, with hundreds of users complaining about everything from corrupted save files to seemingly dead PS4 units.

The error doesn’t seem to be attached to a single game or app, as forum users point to problems with Battlefield 4, NBA 2K14, FIFA, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and AC4. Corrupted save files are one thing, but a smaller pool of users are also reporting the error message being attached to complete software/app failure. A 34-page thread is nothing to sneeze at, but it’s not indicative of several million PS4 owners experience with the new console, either.

So, the question for all the PS4 owners in the audience: Have you run into this error at all? What games does Error CE-34878-0 pop up with? Or is it attached to something worse, like a system failure? Let us know in the comments.

I have had my PS4 since Black Friday and I play a lot of Battlefield 4 and I have had no problems yet.

With the exception of AC4, aren’t they all EA games?

Just got it today, as I was playing Freedom Cry (AC4) – I just reloaded the game, and I was back to playing 1 min after. No corrupted save files or anything, I just continued the missions from my save, which was the exact moment i got the error – no files lost or so.
