PSA: Battlefield 3 Beta Open to All on All Platforms Today

The Battlefield 3 beta opened up earlier this week to some preorder customers, but now anybody can give the next installment of DICE’s big-time shooter series a go, with the beta opening up to all players on all platforms.

On PC, that means you’ll need to download EA’s Origin software client to download the beta. You can do so at Origin.com, then by checking the “Free Games” section of the Origin store once you install the client. After that, go make some popcorn or a sandwich, because the beta will take a bit to download.

On Xbox 360, the Battlefield 3 beta will show up on Xbox Live; same thing with the Playstation Network on PS3.

Been playing on PC. Love it. Definitely Beta with all the bugs but still a lot of fun. You can play Caspian also if you search around for the server passwords. Twitter is your friend :)

Anyone using sixaxisemu on ps3? I’m trying to tweak keyboard and mouse settings but the mouse movement is a little rough.
