PSN Going Dark for 14 Hours Thursday

The Playstation Network will be down for 14 hours on Thursday, March 1st, while it undergoes “a significant maintenance period.” The service is expected to go down at 8:00 am Pacific and only come back online at approximately 10:00 pm.

Gamers signed-in when the maintenance starts will be signed-out, and for the duration of the maintenance, players will be unable to sign-in, access the PlayStation store, PlayStation Home, Account Management or play online. Further, PSN-enabled websites will not be able to service users. You can follow the PlayStation Twitter feed for a notice when PSN is fully back online.

Don’t worry — Anonymous has nothing to do with this.

…or does it?
