PSP Gets Last Ditch Multi-Game Bundle

The PS Vita may be on the way soon, but the PSP isn’t done yet. Sony is making one last-ditch attempt to get folks to pick up the aging handheld by offering a hell of a bundle.

For $159, you get a PSP-3000, Madden 12, Need for Speed Shift and a 2gb memory stick. Not too bad — that’s some value right there. Yeah, the Vita is coming up quickly, but the PSP has quite the nice back catalog of stuff, so it wouldn’t be a bad purchase even if you do plan to get a Vita. It’s not like everything is available as a download.

And, really, the PSP is kind of an underrated platform anyway.

Eeeh, the game selection is iffy. Why not include games that show off the PSP’s potential rather than being just a port from another console? I mean, put on something like Peace Walker, it’s selling for $20 and it’d be awesome. Also, 2gb memory stick? Really?
