Quake Live Premium is Free Until September 26

If you’ve been wondering if a premium subscription to Quake Live is worth the money, this week you have a chance to find out. The free premium event that id Software ran last week has been extended through Sunday, Sept. 26.

Show up to this event, and you’ll get a chance to try out all the Quake Live premium features, including all of the following:

  • Join premium matches to play on any of the 20 new arenas
  • Play the premium-only FreezeTag game type
  • Create clans, and join more than one clan
  • Connect to matches without seeing a pre-game advertisement

Plus, if you buy yourself a Premium or Pro subscription, you’ll get a free one-month token to give to a friend or redeem for yourself.

If you want to check it out, head over to QuakeLive.com and sign up. You may be surprised how well Quake can run in a browser.

well here is another one of my pissy me comments, but hey, I get to post it on this website(hope this one has good spelling) which is sweet. Anyways back to the article posted…
ya quake live is cool but why have a premium? Just another sad way to make money off of dedicated users, come on gaming companies stop being little pussies trying to make people subscribe to and actually build a game that is good enough to play with out the pay of an online fee. come on, its like was born retarded and bought an xbox 360 and say hey this is fun I’m paying over 60 bucks just to play this game online?? WOW FUN!!
