QuakeCon 2013 By The Numbers (Infographic)

QuakeCon 2013 is happening right now. To celebrate the 18th year of North America’s largest LAN event, Bethesda has put together and released an infographic detailing just how big the event actually is, with interesting facts and figures about this year’s show. You can check out just how many energy drinks will be consumed at QuakeCon, among many other noteworthy details up on display.

Hailed as the “Woodstock of Gaming,” QuakeCon is a free convention held annually in the Dallas, TX area—you don’t need tickets to attend! It takes place at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas from August 1 to August 4, where thousands of PC gamers from all over the world will make a pilgrimage to play with their friends on a giant gaming network, or LAN. Also on display are some of the latest cool technology in the event’s exhibit hall, with presentations from the likes of industry luminaries like Doom creator and id Software founder John Carmack, as well as world-class competitive tournaments.
