The Cases and Case Mods of QuakeCon 2013

QuakeCon 2013 is in the books! While we got plenty of new game previews and in-depth interviews from the event, it’s important to remember why QuakeCon actually exists in the first place: LAN-tastic partying for three straight days. Ross Lincoln and I compiled the best cases and case mods we could find into one gallery…along with one or two bonus images from the BYOC.

Got a favorite case in the gallery? Let us know in the comments!

From one of my favorite cartoons on TV comes my favorite case at QuakeCon 2013. LANA!!!

It’s said that BYOC attendees pay homage to the QuakeCon God (Todd Hollenshead, I think) by building ziggurats that reach the heavens.

Drop the bass while capping the base!

A new take on system portability.

Stormtrooper outfit not included.

Laugh it up, fuzzball!

That’s going to be one hell of a mess if the case ever melts.

Hulk’s gaming rig.

I gotta say the NES controller is my favorite, although the final one reminds me of the white xbox 360 (which I like)

the next to last case is the NZXT Switch 810

Id like to know what he did to the top and lower front panels, because it looks like he either got/modified the originals to include a filter, or he guy out a chuck to show the radiator through. the latter i would never do just because of dust all over.
