Quantum Break Trailer Teases Gamescom Reveal with Gameplay

Remedy Entertainment has released a new trailer for Quantum Break, showing off a first look at gameplay.

Quantum Break, the upcoming title from Remedy Entertainment, was first announced during the Xbox One reveal event last May. We’ve seen almost nothing from the game since then, aside from a brief trailer during Spike’s VGX awards show in December.

But that’s going to change later this year, it seems. Remedy’s Sam Lake says in the trailer above that they’ll be showing off the title at Gamescom in August. Supposedly we’ll also get more details about how the game will interact with its companion TV show. According to the video, the game will feature you playing as the hero, Jack Joyce, while the show will be all about Jack’s enemy, a corporation called Monarch.

The trailer doesn’t show off much in the way of gameplay, but it does give a glimpse of the time manipulation powers you’ll have at your disposal. We’ll have to wait and see how the game and the TV show marry up, but it’s certain to be interesting, especially if how players play the game really affects the show, as previous reports have suggested.

It’s possible we’ll get some info at E3, but with the big reveal set for GamesCom, I wouldn’t expect too much.

This looks interesting :) . Also, it’s quite unbeatable to have Max Payne introduce your games XD. This could be fun! And hey, remember who introduced Bullet Time to video games? Looks like the studio that started it all will go one up on their own past success…
