Quantum Conundrum is Getting DLC in August
Need more dimension-tearing fun from Quantum Conundrum? Good news — the first DLC pack for Kim Swift’s first-person puzzler is due out on July 31 on Steam.
There are two DLC packs coming to various platforms in the next month. The first, The Desmond Debacle, sends players “deep in an unexplored wing of the labyrinthine Quadwrangle Manor. Old friend Desmond, the drinking bird, offers up even more brain-twisting and complex puzzles for hours of inter-dimensional puzzle solving.” It hits Steam at the end of July, the Playstation Network on Aug. 14 and Xbox Live on Aug. 15. It’ll run you $2.99 on the first two platforms and 40 MS Points on the last.
The second pack is called IKE-aramba!, “gamers are charged with rescue duty once again, but instead of a missing uncle, this time the victim is IKE (Interdimensional Kinetic Entity)! In this all-new adventure, players will have to rescue IKE and leap seemingly endless chasms while traveling through a newly discovered wing of Quadwrangle Manor.” (FYI — IKE is the furry guy in the photo above.) The price for IKE-aramba! is the same as The Desmond Debacle, with the pack coming to Steam on Aug. 28, then to PSN on Sept. 11 and Xbox Live on Sept. 12.
If you happened to pick up the Quantum Conundrum Season Pass on Steam before the game was launched, then good news — you’ll get the two DLC packs automatically. You can also demo it on Steam.
