The once mighty Radio Shack may be looking towards video games to help spring business back to old form. They are already selling games and hardware on the Radio Shack website as part of a test which will eventually lead to them selling games at their brick and mortar stores.
If Radio Shack is serious about this idea and expands it, we could see a war between them and Game Stop in the near future. Radio Shack has the logistics in place, so it’s probably not a bad idea for them to try and tap into a hot market. I haven’t been a RS loyalist since the mid 1990s, but I think we do need more alternatives in video game sales. This could be their chance to bring things back in a big way.
