    1. Accept this mission from Captain Marshall after destroying the generators on the bridge.
    2. Return to the garage and leave the settlement in your buggy, then follow the white dotted map line to reach outer gates of Capital Prime and exit your vehicle. Enter the tunnel to the right of the main gate and use the red console on the left to enter Capital Prime.
    3. Crawl through the shaft ahead to reach the next room, then jump over the obstacle ahead and make a right. Pick up the ammo on the left and make your next left around the corner, then follow the corridor to the balcony area and fend off the security drone.
    4. Continue into the next corridor and move through it to eliminate the enemies ahead, then make your next right and take cover behind the nearby crates. Take out the enemies that approach from ahead, then move forward and make a left.
    5. Fend of the security drone and continue forward, then eliminate the approaching enemies and take out the armored guard with the pulse cannon by using your BFG rounds. Enter the room ahead on the left to collect supplies, then exit and move into the area across from you.
    6. Take out the enemies ahead and move left around the corner, then approach the blue laser field to ascend in the lift. Exit the platform and make a left, then follow the walkway onto the bridge and eliminate the enemies that drop down on either side of you with the pulse cannon.
    7. Activate the green console at the other end of the bridge and move up the stairs behind it, then approach the blue lasers so that they deactivate and make your way towards the core. Wait for the platform to ascend all the way to the top, then approach the red lasers and eliminate the enemies that emerge.
    8. Move down one of the ramps on either side of the red laser field and activate the green console at the bottom, then return to the level above and move through the unguarded doorway. Eliminate the enemies that emerge ahead and make your next right, then fend off another attack and continue down the corridor.
    9. Eliminate another wave of enemies ahead and continue forward, then activate the green console on the left and move through the doorway previously guarded lasers. Move onto the elevator and ride it up to the next level above, then exit the platform and make your way towards the blue lasers ahead.
    10. Turn around when you reach the blue lasers and fend off the attacking enemies, then move down the ramp on your right and eliminate the mutants nearby. Make a left and activate the green console, then return to the area once guarded by blue lasers and approach the core again.
    11. Move around to the other side of the core and make your way forward across the bridge, then eliminate the enemies and take out the armored guard with a BFG round. Enter the next room ahead and eliminate the enemies that emerge, then make a right and continue forward along the corridor.
    12. Eliminate the enemies ahead and continue down the corridor, then take out the remaining guards and approach the blue laser at the end of the hall. Ride the lift to the floor above, then exit the platform and move forward down the hall ahead.
    13. Activate the green console and ride down to the level below, then activate the next green console ahead and move down the bridge on the left. Activate the green console and return to the core, then eliminate the surrounding enemies that emerge.
    14. Afterwards, move to the next green console on a nearby bridge and activate. Fend off another wave of attacking enemies, then move to the second console on the core and activate it to complete the game.
    15. Achievement / Trophy Unlocked: Hey, not too rough (Gold): Finish the Campaign on any difficulty.

nice walkthrough vids … in Part 6 it’s much easier to take down bad guys on the barricade with the sniper if you aim and then use additional zoom (i think it’s the action button/key – A on xbox and E on PC).

After killing the boss in the hospital(big one) i went to the lobby, got up the escalators and went to a passage on the right. I can already see the room with the defibrilator, but the door is locked. Is it some kind of bug or i didn’t do smth?

    On October 11, 2011 at 2:09 pm

@Napster. It shouldn’t be locked. The defibrillator is on the console beneath the blinking screen in the lab area. The lab area is through the back of the hospital room that’s covered and dripping with blood on the left side of the hallway. This is in the bloody hallway on the right after climbing the escalators. Hope that helps.

Rage was one of the easiest games I played. With no multiplayer, this game is very limited with low replay value.

    @Napster
I have the same problem door won’t open and I can only go back as far as the giant I just killed. Plus I just quick-saved so I think I’m F’d.

Same prob as above the defib room door is locked, red x when I approach the door, must be a bug.

    Had the same problem.

Restarted boss battle beat him, and then quickly went to room killing along the way but do it fast.

Security camera will turn green and let you in.

Seems to be a timed event because doing it slowly caused the lockout problem.

    Hope it works.

Please tell me how to get back to the Resistance Base so that I can talk to Marshall, so that I can finish the Gaining Influence task in the Subway Town

    On October 18, 2011 at 12:24 pm

Just use the elevator near your garage door to go down to Resistance Base. That’s where you first came to the Subway Town.

    Hi Rico,

I have found my way out. I am not sure if this will work, but here what I have done. I restarted the mission To recover the ID drive and once you have recover the ID, you turn around and see one of those things that flies and laser point you. I shoot it few times, which I have not done previously and boom. I went back to the captain and it was no longer stuck… I say try it.

i play the game on pc but i use a xbox controller when i am at the cell and aim the captain the letter “a” shows up to talk to the captain i am going to the console and unlock the cell!!! now for the xbox version i’m not sure in pc version you can save any time and just quit and load the game from the point you saved!!!! i believe in xbox you can do the same just save it before you go down before the battle with authority men! i can not explain in pc i did not have these kinds of problems i suffered although with the textures!!! for daniel just go to to the option load and select auto save or in the main menu select campaign continue game!!!

i play the game on pc but i use a xboc controller when i aim the captain and the letter “a” is shown i speak to him!!! i dont think its relative with xbox, pc and xbox have the option to save!!! save before you go talk him if he recovers the disc you have to protect him and wait!!! save often and how to play a mission with out startin from the beginning the game autosaves when you change locations just go to the main menu select campain continue game or load the game you have saved!!!

The story is an old one and not particularly inventive. The game looks great, runs well, and is a solid shooter if you crank up the difficulty. The cars are a nice touch as well. It was good, could have been so much more though… IMAO.

hey guys, it’s a shame that there are no walkthroughs on “job-board-jobs”. Im trying to finish “help wanted” (deactivating Authorities generators in former gearhead vault), none of the three are working and yet the questlog still tells me I have to deactivate the third one… any ideas?
    Thx

ok completed the single player mode on “nightmare” level and … well…. wasnt so nightmarish… anyone who has played the doom style fps will have a good handle on the tactics needed to play on this lvl.. there were a few moments which stared to get a little worrisome, but easily handled if you had enough ammo… I dont know if this was a glitch, or what but for $60.00 I had expected a bit harder “hardcore” mode… so that I would be able to play a bit longer than 30 hrs… all in all though I did enjoy it and with the option for DLC maybe there will be addons to come.. 7.5 out of 10… addendum: have not played multiplayer so I’ll give that a look see and see if this is where the “money” went on development… lol

good game overall. How do any of you think this game compares to fall out 3? iver never played it. Pros? cons?

    On November 14, 2011 at 8:13 pm

@Lethys, I had sort of the same problem. In my case, the third generator had a faint glow around the very bottom, and the energy pad beside was still on. I could not damage it anymore with EMP or pulse or anything, so had to start mission from beginning. I had a quicksave before I entered the door, and replayed the entire thing. It worked the 2nd time.

Sounds to me like Bethesda threw this god damn game out with no concern on fixing stupid bugs like these, it’s awful, i bought the game used and I still feel ripped off. I shouldn’t HAVE to go on the internet to figure out how to fix the 2 or 3 bugs i’ve ran into so far. Unacceptable.
