Raven Releases Jedi Academy, Jedi Outcast Source Codes

Following the closure of LucasArts, Raven Software released the source code for two of their games—Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast.

Raven Software is a third party studio which developed the titles for LucasArts in the early 2000′s as sequels to Dark Forces, a game developed internally at LucasArts. Starting with Dark Forces, the games are set in the Jedi Knight series and largely focus on the story of Kyle Katarn, a character from the Star Wars Expanded Universe.

The source codes for both games are now available on SourceForge aand Game Front, made available by James Monroe and Raven Software. The code is consistent with the released versions of the game, and no future updates are planned.
