Raven Software Rumored to be Working on Call of Duty Project

It’s internet rumor time!

One thing that has always fed speculation about upcoming game titles are job listings posted by developers. This week’s entry in that field comes from Activision’s own Raven Software. In a job listing, Raven says they are,

seeking a lead visual effects artist to drive the development of stunning visual effects for an established console-based, realistic, first-person military shooter.

The only game in Activision’s arsenal that fits that bill would in fact be Call of Duty. If they’re working on a new Call of Duty title, they’d be joining Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer Games on the list of developers slated to work on the series.

This isn’t the first time that Raven’s been mentioned in connection with the Call of Duty franchise, but there’s still no confirmation of it as yet. If there is, we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
