Red Dead Patch Coming, Co-op Missions Get a Date

reddeadRemember when you picked up your copy of Red Dead Redemption and inside was a card that said some co-op stuff would be on the way? Well, it looks like that card wasn’t lying, because Rockstar announced today that the “Outlaws To The End Co-Op Mission Pack” will be out on June 22, and it will come free of any sort of monetary obligation. The pack includes six missions, some co-op challenges and some new achievements/trophies. The missions will support up to four players, all online. The email they sent concludes with this note: “Stay tuned for news about additional co-op missions in the coming weeks,” so I guess we’ll do that.

But that’s not all! Word came through the Rockstar newswire today that those of you dealing with problems getting online with Red Dead can be sort of happy knowing that Rockstar is working on a fix for that and other assorted issues, and they anticipate it being ready to go by the end of next week. Fingers crossed, I guess.
