Remedy Thinks Max Payne 3 Is Awesome

I’m skeptical of Max Payne 3. I mean, it’s set during the day, for Christ’s sake. It’s all sunny and warm and not in New York, and I don’t know what to make of it just yet. The folks at Remedy, who created Max Payne and made two games before selling the IP to Take Two a few years back, have every reason to be skeptical, too. This is, after all, their baby.

But they aren’t skeptical at all, apparently, or at least Ozz Hakkinen isn’t. This is what he told Kotaku about the game.

We absolutely love what they’ve done and couldn’t be more proud of where the series is headed.

I mean, they don’t really make s–tty games, do they? It’s as if the Rockstar logo has become this “seal of quality.”

So that’s a vote of confidence, I guess. Damn
