Report: GTA V Will Take Us to Los Santos And Feature Multiple Playable Characters

According to Kotaku sources, GTA V will take gamers out to the friendly city known to us as Los Angeles and known in the world of Grand Theft Auto as Los Santos. That’s exciting, but it’s only part of the news Kotaku is reporting: they also say that the game will feature multiple playable characters. That’s a big twist on the formula, as previous titles only told one character’s story each. But it’s not much of a stretch to imagine, really. I can picture it now, in fact.

Take this with a grain of salt, though; we might find out for sure next week, when we see the trailer for this first time. Fingers crossed.

Not suprised we are going back to Los Santos. It seems easier for them to remake the old maps than to totally create a new one.

At least we aren’t going back to Liberty City for the 1000th time.

What about San Fiero? I don’t think that was ever translated to a 3d GTA game.

In any case, if GTA 6 doesn’t take us back to Liberty City (and hopefully it won’t) maybe they’ll go back to Vice City.

Opps, I forgot San Andreas included San Fierro.

Either way, I’ll probably have to wait an extra year to play it, since these people delay the PC release a year beyond when the console versions come out.

All we can hope is that those idiots over at Rockstar learned their lesson the first time and will not make this GTA game a ty console port requiring 10 half ass patches over the course a year to fix medicre problems such as shadowing and performance, and maybe this time I won’t need a 2000 dollar computer to run the game at 30 FPS.

If they’re smart, they’ll make it for PCs first and go from there. The xbox and PS3 hardware is far too outdated to be making games for them first.
