Report: Trenched Delayed Indefinitely in Europe Because of Some Dumb Board Game

Eurogamer is reporting that Double Fine’s Trenched, which hit Xbox Live in the US last week, is being held back in the EU by a trademark dispute. Apparently, there is a Portuguese military-themed board game called Trench, and, well, those names are pretty similar.

There’s no telling how long it would take for something like this to get settled. Double Fine may even have to change the name of the game, which would require some retooling of the game itself. I’m sorry Europe, but it looks like you’re all getting f–ked in this.

In the meantime, you can, uh, sit around and do nothing I’m sure that’ll make the wait more bearable.
