How to Achieve S+ Rank

Note: As we discover more details on the ranking system, we’ll update the guidelines below!

  • Ranking is awarded based on five factors: difficulty, kills, collectibles found, number of deaths, and par time. It is also based on whether playing alone or with friends. Playing alone will give you less stringent requirements than playing with others.
  • Before starting a stage, look at the requirements for each on Kills/Collectibles/Deaths/Time. There’s a set amount you’ll need to achieve for the S Rank.
  • You’ll also need to play the game on Professional, the highest difficulty available if you want S+ Rank.
  • Reaching each of the pars will earn the S Rank. To place in S+, you’ll need to exceed all four settings.
  • For examples, you’ll need to score more kills than listed, discover more collectibles than listed, not die at all, and finish the level earlier than the par time.
  • Earning four S Ranks will not give you an S+. You just need to exceed all four ranking parameters. It’s been confirmed that the par time needs to be beaten by 5 minutes in certain circumstances.
  • Goodluck!

the “Great Success” achievement says you need to gain S+ on all missions on Veteran or Pro difficulty, so surely you can get the S+ playing on veteran to?

Just wondering if anyone knew the actual numbers for each level in regards to kills, deaths, data found, time completed etc for each Chapter in the game, or if thier is a way to see it before coming to the end of each chapter.

Kills = Exceeded
Deaths = 1
Collectables = 13
Time = Exceeded

I got an S+ rank on the mission Corruption. I played it on the Veteran difficulty. Here were my stats.

Kills = 188
Deaths = 0
Collectables = 34
Time = 28:34

Hope this helps. It doesn’t matter how many kills you get as long as you exceed the 150. Also you must beat the par time by 5 minutes.

I have confirmed you DO NOT need to get an S rank on everything to get the S+ rank. The major things that determines the rank are kills and items (data). Meet those requirements and you will get the S+ rank. I managed to get a S in kills, S in items, A in deaths, and S in time and still received a S+. On the episode “Gone Rouge” I got a S for kills, S for items, S for deaths, and an A for time and still got the S+. This is on professional ONLY. And playing alone or co-op, you have to get those main requirements if you are playing alone to get the S+ rank. A friend of mine and myself have got a S on everything before on professional difficulty and we both still got a S. We did it again and this time only one got the requirements for the single player stats while the other hung back and the one getting everything got the S+.
