Resident Evil Zero May Get HD Re-Release

Capcom could be readying an HD remaster of Resident Evil Zero.
While the company hasn’t offered any sort of official announcement confirming plans to re-release a high definition version of the game, enterprising Resident Evil fans recently noticed something interesting that the company’s Japanese website. According to a posting at NeoGAF, the site recently added a preview image showcasing a PS4 menu theme gamers will receive if they pre-order the Resident Evil HD remaster. Included in the preview image is a game icon that appears to be for Resident Evil Zero, potentially suggesting something might be in the works involving that title.
Zero, of course, was originally released as a GameCube exclusive back in 2002. It would later receive a port to the Wii that would, sadly, only be released in Japan. The game itself served as a prequel to the original Resident Evil and received a somewhat mixed reception from fans of the franchise. We’ve reached out to Capcom to see if we can learn more.

They should have stuck to the original plan all those years ago and re-made Resident Evil 2 and 3 the same way they did Resident Evil 1.

They will never do a Resident Evil 2 or 3 remastered. Look at what happened with Square Enix and the Final Fantasy 7 announcement.
Gamers really don’t understand the Japanese mentality.
They are doing these as a test to see how it sells compared to those horrible 3 Resident Evil games which are 4, 5 and 6.
They need to see what direction Resident Evil 7 needs to go according to the sales figures.
