RIFT: Storm Legion Gets November Release Date, Pre-Order Deets

The first expansion for RIFT is coming on Nov. 13, and Trion Worlds is now taking pre-orders for it as well.

Storm Legion, as the expansion is named, throws in two whole additional continents to the RIFT world. It also adds four new souls, 10 levels to the level cap and the ability for players to get houses, among other things. It comes in two editions, Standard and Infinity. Buying the Standard Edition nets players early access to the first expansion dungeon and the “Air Cape” in-game item; buying the Infinity Edition nets the stuff from the Standard and adds a new mount, a “mini-Regulos” to follow you around, and a Brevanic Portal Generator to make getting around a little easier.

On to pricing: Standard Edition Storm Legion will run you $39.99 if you’re already a RIFT player, while Infinity goes for $59.99 for existing players. If you don’t already have vanilla RIFT, however, you can snag it by just adding $10 to either edition, and that deal comes with a month of game time as well.

If you’re already a subscriber, throwing down for a year of RIFT gets you Storm Legion automatically, plus some extra goodies like a mount and a title.

More information and pre-order goodness is available on the Storm Legend website here.
