Ringo Starr Might Be Planning a Video Game
Ringo Starr might be planning some kind of “video game.”
That’s according to the fact that The Beatles: Rock Band star has trademarked the name “Ringo” for “video game software and downloadable computer games via the internet and wireless devices,” which could mean any number of things. Could be another licensed music game; or, as I personally hope, it could be an adaptation of the 1981 cinematic triumph Caveman, which would be guaranteed to sell well, as it would include dinosaurs. (Full disclosure: I have not actually watched Caveman.)
The copyright also doesn’t limit Ringo to a console effort — he could be part of the creation of software for Steam, Xbox Live, the Playstation Network, or even iPhone and Android. Possibly even all of them at the same time. Imagine it: a drumming caveman Ringo on every device you own.
